Ivey Team heads to Barcelona to Compete for Gold
On January 15, 2011, the Richard Ivey School of Business held a case competition between their MBA students to select a representative team to compete in the in the 16th Annual International Case Competition, held at the IESE Business School in Barcelona on February 3-5th.
The selected team from Ivey is comprised of Karime Abdel-Hay, JP Cadeau, James Larsen, and Paul von Martels. These four MBA 2011 candidates presented a well-developed strategy, marketing plan, and organizational structure to help a struggling company pursue growth within the very competitive jeans market.
These winning participants will represent Ivey in Barcelona and will be presented with a unique opportunity to compete with teams from other top school on a challenging case designed to simulate the realities of a career in consulting. Other top schools involved in the competition include: Chicago Booth Business School, INSEAD and London Business School.
